Regional Program Support

Client programs and services in Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull counties receive funds from Regional Program Support dollars. Specific mental health and rehabilitation needs identified by our regional behavior health offices are addressed with this fund.

Our model for providing regional behavioral health services continued to expand in 2006 with the introduction of residential, evaluation and behavioral health services in Trumbull County. Over 10,000 people in five Northeast Ohio counties were helped last year, almost double the number served in the previous year.

Growing, serving more people and improving lives– these are the goals of Coleman Professional Services.

Regional Program Support Success Story:

“It would have been easy to give up many times along the way but they (Coleman Professional Services) believed so strongly and I always found the strength needed to continue.” – A CPS Client

Leesha was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly called Multiple Personality Disorder) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder when she was in her thirties. Helping her take charge of her destiny required more than medication and therapy. Over the last eight years, Leesha and the experts at Coleman have worked as a team utilizing regional services to build a comprehensive approach to help in her recovery. Today Leesha has reduced her alternate personalities to two and she is an active volunteer at Coleman.
