Adult Day Services | Endowment Fund

The Coleman Adult Day Services Endowment Fund is the lifeline to area families who cannot afford the safety and peace-of-mind Coleman’s daytime program offers. Established in 1997, it subsidizes the gap between the cost of client care and a family’s ability to pay.

Sometimes a little extra help to keep our families together and our older relatives in the comfort of their homes is all we need. A special place where older adults suffering from dementia can adjust to life changes without going to a nursing home is what Coleman Adult Day Services offers.

Coleman Adult Day Services focuses on helping older adults maintain the highest possible level of independence. Our unique program combines therapeutic activities with a fun, supportive, social setting. Our expanded support services include nursing, health monitoring, personal care, bathing assistance and nutritious meals.

Community-based care is a positive solution for working family members and it provides a needed respite to caregivers. Coleman Adult Day Services fills critical gaps in the long-term needs of Portage County’s elderly population and is a vital resource in the care of older adults.

Adult Day Services Success Story:

“Joe’s family reports he has improved balance and less confusion. He’s even speaking Italian again thanks to friends at Coleman Adult Day Service.”
– A CPS Professional

At 45-years-old, Joe was a pioneer in helping Portage County address future challenges with the community’s aging population. Now in his 80s, he is a participant in the therapeutic exercise program at Coleman Adult Day Services. The therapy and the friendships he has formed are helping Joe be as independent as possible. Because of his advances, Joe’s family is optimistic their parents can remain together at home.
