Capital Needs
Currently, the primary capital need for Coleman Foundation is housing for those with behavioral health disabilities. Safe and affordable housing is a basic human need, and housing is a key component of the continuum of care that Coleman strives to provide. Without housing, it is virtually impossible for a customer to recover, to gain employment and to achieve their full potential. Therefore, assisting customers with housing is a fundamental value of Coleman.
Coleman Professional Services, with whom we provide funding, directly provides housing to over 100 people through the 60 housing units that it owns. Funds are always needed to maintain and repair these buildings. Also, more units are needed to house the growing number of customers in need of care.
